The Enchanted Ball

The Enchanted Ball is the primary fundraising activity hosted by The Financial Markets Foundation for Children to raise funds for research into children's health issues. This annual event brings together a number of Australian philanthropists in support of The Financial Markets Foundation for Children.

The Foundation itself was established by both the Reserve Bank of Australia and Australia's leading banks, with the aim of raising money to enable research into a number of children's health issues that would otherwise go unfunded. There is also a focus on university and research hospital start up programs which often do not attract government support.

Using the support of the Australian financial community the foundation has raised over $11.9m to date with 100% of funds collected being returned into research projects.
